From December 5 – 11, all Aeroplan Miles donated to the Air Canada Foundation will be matched by Aeroplan up to a maximum of 500,000 Aeroplan Miles.
Aeroplan Miles donated to the Air Canada Foundation are mainly used for the Hospital Transportation Program which helps children reach medical care not available where they live. Hundreds of families count on the support of the foundation each year. Not only does this initiative provide peace of mind for these families, it also provides accessibility to needed care as the cost of air travel is often an additional burden, which can pose serious economic and emotional hardship. Each year, the Air Canada Foundation donates millions of Aeroplan Miles to 15 pediatric hospitals across Canada to help children reach the medical care they need.

- In 2016, the Air Canada Foundation donated 5 million Aeroplan Miles so far to pediatric hospitals across Canada
- In the past four years alone, this is over 45 million Aeroplan Miles that were donated to 15 pediatric hospitals with the sole objective of helping these sick kids get the medical care they need.
